Perfect for any occasion, especially a last minute baby shower gift, or just a way to let someone know you care. After I shared the first picture of her I had a lot of requests to make more— including a neon blue and pink one for my oldest. She is easy to make and put together but is an intermediate pattern since the faux fur yarn is tougher to work with than regular worsted weight.

My youngest son loves soft and snuggly toys and I wanted to design something special for him. When I saw this fuzzy yarn that didn’t shed I knew it would be for that special project, nothing could make a better lovey. I’ve made a lot of animals for my kids, they are my biggest inspiration- and this is definitely one of their favorites—tied with Iris the Unicorn. I hope she is yours, too.

Tips for working with Go for Faux or similar yarns:
As you are making the magic ring, to prevent the yarn from getting stuck, pull the tail a little with each stitch. Once it moves easily make your next stitch. If you do not do this it will not pull closed.
Mark your rows as you go so you don’t have to feel for where they are.
If there are knots in the yarn, do not crochet over them. Cut that piece out and reattach like you are changing colors. This will prevent hard lumps in your bunny.
